A registered Professional Mechanical Engineer, Joe has been a consultant on energy conservation and efficiency of commercial establishments, food and electronics manufacturing. His experiences included managing a division of a large construction company on air conditioning and refrigeration, including its sales, design, manufacturing, project management, service and maintenance, and retrofitting such systems. Since the early 1980’s, he has been an international consultant/lecturer on energy conservation in refrigeration and air conditioning. In 1992, Engr. Hilario received the Energy Professional of the Year Award from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
